Vegan Japanese tofu meat balls recipe
I used semi dried tofu for this recipe to give them a similar texture to chicken. Shitake mushrooms give them a more complex flavour and onion and carrot add a nice crunchy texture.

Ponzu goes very well with these tofu meat balls.  I made them for them for my friends and they all had no idea they were eating tofu. They are fantastically delicious!

*Ingredients

500g semi dried tofu

4 shitake mushrooms
1/2 onion
2 tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp SAORI Ponzu (Citrus & Soya Japanese Sauce)
olive oil for frying

2-3 tbsp grated daikon (Japanese radish)
SAORI Ponzu for drizzling
